In 2016, Dynamic Planning and Developments were engaged by the team at Exal Group to undertake planning services for the new state-of-the-art PBSA project located in the Waterford Triangle area, which adjoins Canning College and Curtin University.
Dealing with a project site that borders three different local authorities presents its challenges when appreciating the existing context and planning for the context. Through proactive planning and dialogue with the relevant authorities, a customised scheme amendment was prepared to create a planning framework within the City of South Perth to facilitate the future PBSA project.
With a great project team involving Exal Group, Mackay Urban Design, and others, Dynamic Planning and Developments were proud to see the Scheme Amendment approved in May 2020 and even more excited to be part of the official ground-breaking ceremony last week!
Phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed in January 2026 with a strategic offering of PBSAs that will provide safe and fit-for-purpose accommodation options featuring impressive amenities, car-sharing facilities, and much more.
